I love that the intention of International Women’s Day is to bring awareness to women’s equality and achievements! On top of that, this year‘s theme is “Choose to Challenge”. We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality and collectively help create an inclusive world.
The honor of being a woman is vast. To be the one who births humanity into being and sustains life by her very breast, a true miracle she is, we are. Heroines, walking the planet amongst our brothers doing their own heroes journey.
How far we’ve come, the fight we are still fighting, to be free, to feel safe, to be valued, to be seen, to be heard, to be loved. It’s me I’m talking about. It’s US.
We can, we will, we must. Together, hand-in-hand. siStars, I celebrate and give thanks to you all. To those that have guided me, taught me, held me, stood by me, accepted me, believed in me, inspired me, challenged me, forgiven me, loved me.
When we celebrate women, we celebrate all, we celebrate LIFE.
