Talaya Thomas! One of the bigs in life. She left the world of form this week, and none of us will ever be the same. If you were lucky, like me, to be chosen by her, to be loved by her, and to be SEEN by her, it was a beautiful thing.
Talaya rocked it so good, that she may as well have lived until 108, and her impact will be felt for the next many generations. She passed the baton to many of us, and so now it’s up to us to continue her legacy of love, taking a stand for racial justice, social justice, yoga for everyone, being a mover and shaker in the world of yoga, and a brilliant mind with a heart bigger than life.
So big that her Spirit lives on. I feel you Talaya, you live in my heart! I will carry your message and I am forever grateful to be in your wingspan. You flew on earth, and now you fly in eternity. I love you! Infinite prayers to her massive family, friends, and loved ones.
