Yoga classes and workshops in Colorado

Colorado, here I come 💛

Mar 26, 2026

There are places in our lives that never really leave us… places that live in our bones, in our memories, in our hearts. For me, Crested Butte will always be one of those places.

It’s where I raised my boys. Where I built a home. Where I opened my yoga studio and was held by an incredible community.

Even though life has taken me in new directions, I return every year, and every time, it feels like coming home.

This trip feels especially meaningful. I’ll be there for my son Cheyne’s birthday on April 6, and I feel deeply called to be in the place where he lived, where so many memories still live in me, and where I can honor him in a way that feels real and true.

While I’m there, I’ll be offering a special donation-based class in support of CB State of Mind, an organization dedicated to mental health and suicide prevention in the community. It means so much to me to be able to give back in this way.

I’ll also be teaching a few special classes at the studio that was once mine—now beautifully held by its current owner, Lilavati, who continues to carry it forward with so much love.

It’s always such a joy to return, to teach in that space, and to reconnect with former students, teachers I’ve trained, and dear friends. This visit feels like a reunion of hearts… a coming together of community, practice, and love.

My class schedule

Besides the donation based Peace of Mind Practice, I will also be teaching a Breath & Bhakti and Bhakti Vinyasa class.

04/02: Peace of Mind Practice: Breath, Meditation and Gentle Flow. A nurturing, down-regulating class designed to support mental health, emotional steadiness, and resilience in everyday life.

04/07: Breath & Bhakti: Mantra, Meditation & Breath. Through powerful pranayama, mantra, and universal prayers, you’ll be guided into a deeply centered, peaceful, heart-awake state.

04/07: Bhakti Vinyasa: A soulful, heart-opening flow rooted in love, celebration, and devotion.

I'm also excited that my dear friend and bhakti brother Saul David Raye will also be teaching at Thrive while I’m there. If you’re in Crested Butte, I highly recommend experiencing his classes, they are truly special. Here you can find an overview of his classes.

And this beautiful season continues…

At the end of May, I’ll be teaching at Grand Valley Yoga Fest, a festival that is very close to my heart, as it raises awareness and funds for suicide prevention and mental health. I’ll be offering some deeply meaningful classes and workshops there, and it’s truly an honor to be part of it.

Then in early June, I’ll be returning to Sanghafest, one of my absolute favorite gatherings. It’s a weekend of music, devotion, and community… a true bhakti reunion with so many teachers, musicians, and friends I love.

If you are interested in going to Sanghafest, send an e-mail to [email protected] and I will send you a discount for tickets.

If you’ve never been, both of these festivals are incredibly special. They are worth planning for, traveling for, and experiencing fully.

Whether you’re in Colorado and we get to hug in person… or whether you feel called to join for one of these festivals… or even if you’re simply following along from afar…

I feel so grateful to be walking this path together.

My beloved Colorado friends—I cannot wait to see you, to practice together, to reconnect, and to share this time.

And to everyone else… maybe this is your invitation to come join us at one of the festivals

With love from your “mountain mermaid”,

Monica 💛
