It's my birthday, so I made you a gift π
Sep 18, 2026Tomorrow is my birthday, and this year, one of the ways I want to celebrate being alive is by giving something to you.
I feel deeply grateful for another year of this wild, beautiful, heartbreaking, extraordinary life.
For the people I love.
For the practices that have carried me.
For this body.
For the ocean.
For my family.
For every opportunity I have been given to love, learn, heal, grow, begin again, and be of service.
So for my birthday, I made you a gift: your free 30-Day Sacred Sadhana Guide.

The story behind it
For the 30 days leading up to September 8, I devoted myself to a very personal sadhana in honor of my son Cheyne.
I created a daily practice of prayer, meditation, movement, mantra, remembrance, devotion, and love.
It reminded me of something I have received from four decades of yoga and spiritual practice: the practices we return to become the path to moving through all that life brings us.
When people ask me how I have moved through some of the hardest experiences of my life, this is a huge part of my answer.
Practice. Devotion.
I shared what I was doing with the women in my Tantra Yoga Sadhana, and one of them asked, "I would love for you to help me create a 30-day sadhana of my own." And a little seed was planted.
What 30 days can hold
I decided to create a beautiful guide so that everyone could create their own 30-day sacred practice — one that could also lead into a daily practice beyond that.
You can dedicate 30 days to almost anything your heart is calling you toward:
More self-love. Healing and renewed health. Confidence. Peace. Creativity. Devotion. More aliveness and turn-on in your body. More intimacy and love in your relationship. A new chapter of your life. A prayer you are carrying. Something you are ready to release, honor, celebrate, cultivate, or become.
Sadhana is simply a sacred commitment to return, again and again, to your own sacred intentions. I wanted to create something that would help you make that commitment your own.
Why now
The timing couldn't be more beautiful. π
We are standing at a threshold. The September Equinox arrives on September 22, followed just a few days later by the Harvest Full Moon on September 26.
The equinox is a beautiful moment to contemplate balance — light and darkness, doing and being, holding on and letting go — and to consciously enter a new season.
The Harvest Moon invites another question: what are you ready to harvest from your own life? What have you been tending? What are you grateful for? What are you ready to devote yourself to now?
Maybe this is your moment to begin.
Start on the Equinox. Start with the Harvest Moon. Start on a Monday. Start tomorrow. The date matters much less than the devotion.
This is my gift to you π
I've been feeling increasingly called at this stage of my life to give away more of the practices and teachings that have supported me for so many years.
Because I believe something very simple: when you create more peace within yourself, you bring more peace into your relationships, your families, your communities, and our world. When you learn to love yourself more deeply, you have more love to give. When you tend to your body, your heart, your relationships, your grief, your joy, and your spiritual life, that healing doesn't end with you. It ripples outward.
The world needs people who are rooted. People who know how to return to themselves. People who practice love.
This little guide is one way I can share some of what has helped me do that.
I'll help you create a 30-day Sacred Sadhana that is completely your own — weaving together practices such as yoga, mantra, meditation, breath, Tantra, prayer, devotion, ritual, journaling, movement, and whatever else speaks to your heart.
There is no one right sadhana. There is the one you will return to.

If you decide to begin your own 30 days, I would truly love to hear from you. Tell me: what are you devoting your 30 days to?
As I begin another journey around the sun, knowing that somewhere out there some of you might begin 30 days of loving yourselves, tending your hearts, nourishing your relationships, healing, praying, moving, breathing, and coming home to yourselves feels like a pretty special birthday present to me, too.
I leave you with a prayer that has been part of my own daily sadhana for many years — the Prayer of St. Francis.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.
With so much love,
Monica ππΎπ
P.S. My birthday wish is that you choose something your heart longs for and give yourself 30 days to devote yourself to it. You might be amazed by what happens. Let me know how it goes!
